When you are a young girl, you have so many dreams.
Maybe dreams of a house.
Maybe dreams of a wedding.
Dreams of a fabulous career in a big city, or some luxe little life in Paris.
Dreams of some sort of defined happily ever after.
And then you grow up.
You discover that adult life isn't always easy. It comes with bills and responsibilities, unexpected turns, losses, grief, and things you never could have imagined when you were that little girl dreaming about what her life would become....

To cherish the gifts that arrive in challenge and in grace.
To notice what you love. To make something beautiful out of what is actually here in every present moment, the hard ones, the lonely ones, the difficult ones, the beautiful ones!

YOU.

Your inner child.
Your creative source.
Your curiosity.
Your imagination.
The part of you that still believes an ordinary afternoon can become an adventure, that flowers are worth stopping for, that getting dressed up can be an occasion, and that sometimes you should buy the ridiculous earrings, eat the lavender ice cream, dance on the lawn, or do something simply because it delights you.

But perhaps growing into the fullness of ourselves is about reclaiming something that adult life and hardship can obscure
Discovering that happily ever after was never really a destination.
Perhaps it is keeping child like wonder alive within you, still curious, still creating, still playing, still finding wonder in this beautiful, complicated life...
